Elizabeth Falkner

Chef Elizabeth Falkner continues to be a leader and pioneer in the culinary scene. Falkner is a huge fan of cooking competitions and has appeared on more than thirty television competition shows either as a competitor or a judge. Most people remember her battles to the final in Food Network’s, “Next Iron Chef-Super Chefs”, where she was the runner up. She also appeared on “Iron Chef America”, “Food Network Challenge”, “Kitchen Inferno”, “All-Star Academy”, “Cutthroat Kitchen-Superstar Sabotage”, “Chopped Allstars”, as well the first season of Bravo’s, “Top Chef Masters” and Cooking Channel’s, “Donut Showdown”, as a reoccurring judge.

Falkner is a multiple award winning chef and James Beard Nominee.

She seized the first place trophy in the World Pizza Competition in Naples, Italy in the Freestyle category in 2012.

She is the author of two cookbooks, “Demolition Desserts”, Ten Speed Press 2007 (IACP Best First Book Finalist), and “Cooking Off The Clock”, Ten Speed Press 2012.

For more than twenty years, she wowed the San Francisco/Bay Area with her restaurants and patisserie, Citizen Cake and Orson.

After moving to New York in 2012 to open two immediately successful independent restaurants for first time operators, she is now working on her first memoir book, motivational speaking and web projects on “Warrior Wellness” and being “Fit to Cook”. Falkner is also working on “Food Installations”, a series of environments incorporating food or ingredients in unexpected ways.
